Biocompatible column selection valve for 7 columns, one bypass position and reverse flow. Natural PEEK stator and PEEK TX rotor seal.
A great option for column switching is the installation of a specialized column switching valve. The great advantage is that only one valve drive VU 4.1 must be used. This valve is made for FPLC applications up to 200 bar
Functional principle:
7 columns can be installed in total. Column 1 is installed between ports 1A and 1B, column 2 between port 2A and 2B and so on. This valve can be switched to 15 positions. Position 1A-1B directs the flow on column 1 in "normal" flow direction. Position 1B-1A directs the flow on column 1 in "reverse" flow direction. The same is true for all other column positions 2 - 7. Position "Bypass" connects valve in- and outlet and no column is flushed.
