The biocompatible back pressure regulator prevents pressure drops downstream of the column by maintaining a constant back pressure. This minimizes the formation of disruptive air bubbles. The wetted parts of the back pressure regulator are completely biocompatible.
The included Y-piece for pressure relief automatically diverts fluids when the pressure exceeds the set limits.
