AZURA® AS 6.1L analytical Autosampler up to 1240 bar, without cool/heat option
The analytical AS 6.1L for UHPLC applications enables highly precise and reproducible injections from up to 108 × 1.5 ml sample vials or standard microtiter plates (96‑ or 384‑well plates, up to two plates each). Maximum flexibility and efficient sample comsumption are ensured through three different injection modes:
- Full loop - highest precision and reproducibility
- Partial loop - variable injection volumes, ideal for dilution series
- µl pickup - loss‑free injection of extremely small sample volumes
For high‑pressure applications, the autosampler is equipped with an ILD™ valve (Intermediate Loop Decompression). This rotor-stator valve design features a central port that depressurizes the system before the sample is aspirated into the loop. Hence, the sample is not diluted with solvent, leading to improved injection accuracy and reproducibility. The extremely fast valve switching minimizes pressure spikes, enhancing analytical performance while reducing mechanical stress and wear on the column. In addition, the as 6.1L supports precolumn derivatization and minimizes carryover through a highly effective inside and outside needle wash procedure.
