The KNAUER BlueShadow 50D is a variable multiwavelength UV/VIS detector especially suitable for HPLC applications, including fast LC methods. It is equipped with both a deuterium, and a halogen lamp, covering a wavelength range from 190 to 900 nm. This detector provides high sensitivity and baseline stability.
With its high-speed scanning capability, the BlueShadow 50D can simultaneously monitor up to four different wavelengths to acquire spectral data across the entire 190 to 900 nm range. It achieves remarkable performance in terms of noise, drift, and linearity through advanced optical bench technology and optimized components.
The smart design ensures that the flow cell is easily accessible and can be changed very quickly. Users can choose from a wide range of flow cells with either bio-inert or stainless-steel wetted parts, suitable for nearly any analytical and preparative LC applications, with flow rates ranging from 10 μl/min to 10 l/min.
The 50D can be operated using ClarityChrom®, OpenLAB®, and PurityChrom® software, or through its integrated display and keypad for stand-alone operation. It supports communication via LAN, RS-232, or through analog input/output, allowing for seamless integration into almost any LC system.
