Dieses Ventil wird in Kombination mit dem Ventilantrieb VU 4.1 verwendet. Multipositionsventile sind in HPLC- und UHPLC-Anwendungen allgegenwärtig. Sie fungieren wie ein Schalter und können den Flussweg des Chromatographiesystems auf verschiedene Weise steuern. Der Stator dieses automatisierten Multipositionsventils besteht aus Edelstahl mit einer DLC-Beschichtung (diamond-like carbon). In Kombination mit einer PEEK TX-Rotordichtung bietet das Ventil eine hohe Lebensdauer und eine Druckbeständigkeit von bis zu 200 bar. Dieses Ventil eignet sich am besten für präparative Anwendungen und verfügt über 8 Ports. Dank des Breakfree-Designs reduziert das Ventil den Gegendruck beim Positionswechsel deutlich.
