The KNAUER AZURA® RID 2.1L is a sensitive and affordably priced differential refractometer, ideal for detecting compounds with little or no UV activity, such as alcohols, sugars, lipids, and polymers. This instrument is designed for use in analytical HPLC, and, under certain conditions for GPC applications. 
The intelligently designed optical unit, equipped with advanced temperature control, ensures high sensitivity, rapid baseline stabilization, and excellent reproducibility. Additional features include a long-life LED, a highly pressure-resistant flow cell, improved safety features, and enhanced diagnostics functions, all contributing to easy handling and minimal maintenance.
Its wide linear dynamic range, low internal volume of 43 µl from the inlet to the flow cell and 10 ml/min maximum flow rate make the AZURA® RID 2.1L the perfect choice for most laboratory tasks. 
This detector can be controlled using ClarityChrom®, OpenLAB®, Chromeleon™ and PurityChrom® software. It also supports stand-alone operation via Mobile Control software, and can be integrated into almost any LC system through LAN or analog input/output.
